After making butter, and if time permits, students will be playing a few Rounds of 13 Colonies Bingo.

After making butter, and if time permits, students will be playing a few Rounds of 13 Colonies Bingo.
Farm tour to target how families used to use their land for different things – Barn, Commissary, Blacksmith, Wash House, Well, Inside of house (Changes from 1870’ses to now)
End it with a Games of the Past activities with the students.
Students will review how the thirteen colonies were unique based on the region with a Flocabulary video on YouTube.
Instructor will then lead them into making a colonial toy – whirligig. The whirligig will be divided into thirds, labeled New England, Middle, South. Students may draw things unique to those regions. On the other side they can color it how they would like.
Students explore a variety of topics about Colonial America to unlock the puzzles. Topics include:
Students will work together towards a common goal, communicating effectively, and delegating roles within their group so all members are successful.
